Specifying hardwoods or exotic woods can lead to deforestation. Not only does this deplete the amount of CO2 absorbing trees but many rainforests are treasure troves for exotic animal species and plants. These rainforest plants can often contain vital information for creating new cures and medicines. DACKOR is a manufacturer and supplier of smart laminates that are ideal for vertical/indoor applications such as cabinet doors, store fixtures, interior fire doors and walls.
Product Spec Overview: DACKOR® 3D Laminates
Why: Dackor brand 3D Laminates form on all 3 dimensions of a products surface alleviating the need for edge-banding. This creates seamless, monolithic components made such as cabinet doors, drawer fronts and store fixture parts using DACKOR have 95% of the weight as recycled content by utilizing high-grade Medium Density Fiberboard (MDF) as the component’s core. MDF uses recycled wood chips and compresses them with water-based adhesives to form a surface that will not warp and is easy to mill on the CNC and will hold a screw as compared to particleboard which cannot typically.
Sizes: 56" to 57" wide with film thicknesses ranging from 0.3mm to 0.7mm thick.
Ideal Applications: Multi-family and hotel cabinet doors, cabinet drawers, chain store fixture parts, restaurant walls, office desktops, RV kitchen tops.
Not for: Residential Tops using stovetops, educational desktops in schools, exterior use.
Availability: 260 colors+ stocked to handle jobs as small as 1 unit and as large as 300 units that ships next day to domestic manufacturers.

Product Spec Overview: PEELSTIX® and PEELSTIX WRAP
Why: PEELSTIX® brand 3D Laminates are made in the USA and have pressure sensitive adhesive on the back that can adhere to metal, wood, foam, plastic, pvc and other non porous surfaces. The product's key attribute is its ease of application with no need to wrap or to apply glue. The product comes ready to install and simply cut with a utility knife to transform any surface quickly. For locations like fire doors you simply paint the sides of the door so there is no need to wrap. Our PEELSTIX WRAP product is for wrapping surfaces.
Sizes: 54" wide and it adds 5 mil (0.125mm thickness of glue) to our 12, 16, 20 or 28 mil 3D Laminates. PEELSTIX WRAP is 0.15mm to 0.2mm thick with a 2 mil glue
Ideal Applications: Interior flat surfaces or columns. Ideal for fire doors, cabinet boxes when cabinet refacing and other flat surfaces for PEELSTIX. PEELSTIX WRAP can wrap edges.
Not for: Exterior, Wrapping unless using the PEELSTIX® Wrap grade.

Product Spec Overview: KOR ACCENT PLANKS and KOR ACCENT PLANKS XL
Why: Accent Planks by DACKOR is an extension of the Peelstix brand by application of a peel and stick back to our surfaces but built thicker with a core so as to make the finished product more rigid yet lightweight. This enables the product to be applied to walls with no wrinkles or issues. Much like Peelstix, Accent Planks can be cut with a simple utility knife as a score and then popped to break apart. This enables installation to be quiet, clean and even easier to install due to the products rigid structure. Accent Planks make use of the vibrant color range with deep embossing that creates a luxurious look. Accent Planks may also have routered edges which enable you to see the core of the product after installed creating a grout look.
Sizes: ACCENT PLANKS are 5 7/8" x 48" long ACCENT PLANKS XL are 24x24" tiles, 24"x 48" planks and 48"x48" panels. The XL enable a more substantial high end look due to the products size yet still lightweight.
Ideal Applications: Commercial and Residential applications. Can be used for doors and headboards but primarily used for Accent Walls.
Not for: Exterior or columns

Not for: Areas that require the impact resistance and class A fire rating of Dackor and KOR Laminates.

Why: Dackor brand Feelz City 2D PET Laminates feature a high end super matte surface finish with anti-fingerprint & soft touch haptics, thermal healing of micro-scratches, easy to clean, and sustainable for the environment. These super durable topcoats provide peace of mind against scratching and everyday wear and tear.
Sizes: 50" wide with film thickness of 0.25mm.
Ideal Applications: For Residential and Commercial Applications in which flat lamination, profile wrapping, and 5-piece doors are specifiable.
Not for: Membrane pressing.

Reduction of Shipping:
Specifying DACKOR also reduces in total energy consumption caused by material movement. The total energy used to transport our light surfaces are much less than when compared to importing logs or shipping hardwood nationally. All finished products produced by our customers utilize local MDF substrate mills to produce your finished product close to your project. Components and Furniture made by our 3D Laminates are typically produced close to the project by our manufacturing customers using CNCs and Membrane pressing. Wall products are made by Dackor.
